Low pressure and load-shedding are winter facts in Pakistan, but they are also complaint categories that both Sui companies take seriously when you file them properly. The sixty-second complaint

- Evidence that moves things: a fifteen-second video of the burner during peak hours, flame low and in focus. Nothing persuades a field team faster.

Why it happens at all
Domestic gas fields are declining and imported LNG fills the gap at prices nobody can plan around; winter demand simply outruns supply. The priority list puts homes first, then commercial, then industrial, then CNG — so the CNG stations go dark before your kitchen does. But if your society shares a low-pressure loop with commercial connections, your stove suffers anyway, and that mixed-loop case is exactly what the complaint system is built to escalate.
When nothing happens
Give it a window — SSGC officially quotes 24 to 36 hours for pressure complaints, and SNGPL promises your pressure back before the next meal, which is winter poetry rather than a service level. A public tweet tagging the official company handles genuinely works too — their social desks have direct lines to operations.
Before next winter
Service the geyser before October, because sediment turns a mild pressure drop into a cold shower. A dual-fuel gas-and-LPG heater gives January a fallback. And only a licensed plumber should touch anything booster-shaped — unauthorised boosters damage meters and can cost you the connection itself.
