Saudi Visa on Arrival for Pakistanis Holding a US, UK or Schengen Visa (2026–2027): The Sticker-Route Rules, the 'Used at Least Once' Condition and What Check-in Staff in Pakistan Get Wrong

The most misunderstood sentence in Saudi visa advice: Pakistan is not eligible for the eVisa. True — and incomplete. Since January 2020 the Kingdom has run a parallel door for the Pakistani traveller holding a valid US, UK or Schengen visa that has been used at least once. The rule survives into the 2026–2027 season — nobody at a Pakistani check-in counter has read it.

The quick answer: a Pakistani citizen carrying a used tourist or business visa from the US, the UK or a Schengen state can apply for the Saudi eVisa online or obtain a visa on arrival at Saudi airports. The sticker must be valid at Saudi entry and used at least once — an unused sticker does not qualify. Fees reported online contradict each other, so confirm the live total on the official portal — expect the SAR 400–500 band with insurance included. The door's weakest hinge is not Riyadh — it is the airline desk in Lahore or Karachi.

Which Stickers Count — and Which Do Not

Your document Counts for the sticker route?
Valid US B1/B2, UK visitor or Schengen C-type — each used once Yes
The same visa in an old, cancelled passport Risky — carry both booklets
An unused sticker, however valid No
    An expired US/UK/Schengen visa No
GCC residence (iqama) Different door — the GCC residents file
    • The condition that kills most files is "used at least once" — the entry stamp or electronic record must exist; a fresh ten-year B1/B2 you never travelled on does not qualify.
    • The sticker must remain valid when you enter Saudi Arabia, and business and tourist visas are the recognised categories — check the official portal before relying on anything else.

eVisa Online or the Airport Counter?

The online eVisa is the safer of the two: approved in most cases within 24–72 hours, paid by card, insurance bundled, a PDF you can print. Saudi's guidance extends the eVisa beyond the nationality list to travellers holding valid GCC, UK, US or Schengen tourist visas — the route the Saudi visa types guide maps alongside the Package Visa pilot. The airport visa on arrival is the same permission, issued at the desk — faster, riskier.

    • Apply online when your dates are firm and you want no check-in surprises; take the counter only for last-minute trips, carrying a card — it takes no banknotes.
    • One July 2026 wrinkle: Saudi Arabia launched its own Electronic Travel Authorisation for UK citizens on 1 July 2026 — multiple entries, up to 180 days a year, a UK-passport route belonging to the dual-passport families file.

Can You Perform Umrah on It?

The tourist eVisa explicitly permits Umrah outside the Hajj season — with a Nusuk permit, as on any valid visa. On the visa-on-arrival version the picture is muddier: the original policy language was tourism-focused, and sources still differ on purposes. Pilgrims do perform Umrah on it, but confirm your purpose is accepted before paying for flights — or take the eVisa, which carries the permission in writing. Around the Hajj window the whole lane tightens — the Hajj window calendar shows why.

The Check-in Battle and the Quiet Fallback

Airline staff in Pakistan routinely refuse boarding on this rule. Win it calmly:

    • Print the official eligibility page and the eVisa PDF.
    • Arrive three hours early and show the used entry record — the stamped old page or the issuing country's electronic record.
    • If the desk still refuses, the fallback is the operator-filed Umrah visa — the packages guide prices it, and no check-in agent in Pakistan questions it.

Pro tip: The sticker route saves the most on short, repeat trips — the multiple-entry Umrah visa guide may beat it over a full year of visits.

Borders sort people into the stamped and the stranded. Palestinians need no visa to belong to Palestine — yet the occupation decides who crosses into their own homeland, who exits Gaza, who visits the families Israel displaced. Ya Allah, end that occupation and hand Palestine's crossings back to its people. Sudanese families queue at consulates war has scattered — embassies closed, records burned as the RSF advanced. Ya Allah, restore Sudan's documents, borders and peace, and call the men who burned its future to account.

Agar aapke passport par America, UK ya Schengen ka lagaya hua visa hai jo ek dafa use ho chuka hai, to Saudi ka eVisa ya visa on arrival khul sakta hai — magar boarding se pehle official rule ka printout aur old passport saath rakhein.

The sticker route rewards travellers who file it correctly — eligibility checked, the eVisa printed, the fallback priced. We actually respond — twenty-four hours, no hidden charges, no message left on read — and every client's route is decided in writing before a riyal is paid. HTG Travels — WhatsApp +92 317 5054959.

Visa Photo Requirements From Pakistan 2026–2027: Schengen 35×45, US 2×2, Saudi 200×200 — the Complete Size Sheet

Every visa photo size Pakistani applicants actually need in 2026–2027, in one place — the Schengen 35 by 45 millimetre standard with the head at 70 to 80 percent of the frame, the US 2 by 2 inch print for B1/B2 and DS-160 interviews with its digital twin of 600 by 600 to 1200 by 1200 pixels under 240 KB and the no-glasses rule in force since November 2016, the UK's 35 by 45, the Saudi eVisa's 200 by 200 pixel upload at 5 to 100 KB on plain white, Japan's 45 by 45, China's 33 by 48, Canada's 50 by 70, Turkey's 50 by 60 and the UAE's 43 by 55 — plus the upload-killers of shadows, file size and face proportion, the hijab and beard rules that cause needless worry, how infant photos are actually taken for US and Schengen files, and why the most expensive sentence in Pakistani visa travel is walking into a studio and asking for a visa photo instead of naming the size.
