The Umrah Paperwork Order for 2026-2027: What Must Exist Before Your Visa Can — the E-Passport First, the NIMS Polio Certificate, the Nusuk Package With Hotel, Transport and Meal Voucher, the 30-Day Entry Clock, and Only Then the Permits

Ask a desk officer why an Umrah file was refused and the answer is rarely dramatic. It is almost always sequence — tickets before a booking reference, certificates outside their window, visas mistaken for permits. The 2026-2027 season runs on a dependency chain, and the discipline is doing it in order.

The quick answer: the order is e-passport → polio certificate → Nusuk package (hotel reference, transport, meal voucher) → visa → permits. The NIMS polio certificate must land inside its dose window before departure day. The Nusuk package must exist before the visa because the rule is no booking, no visa. The visa starts a 30-day entry clock the moment it is issued. And the Umrah permit — plus the separate Rawdah permit — is booked only once you are a visa-holder with a date.

    The chain, link by link

Order Document What it unlocks Typical lead time
1 Chip e-passport Every later step — Nusuk registration, visa, ticketing 5 urgent / 21 normal days
2 NIMS polio certificate Airport departure eligibility Days, inside the dose window
3 Nusuk package + booking reference The visa application itself Days, subject to inventory
4 Umrah visa Entry — valid within 30 days of issue Operator-dependent; file early
5 Umrah permit, then Rawdah permit Haram and Rawdah slots Same-day once dates fixed

Link one: the passport before everything

Since 23 October 2026 Pakistan issues only the chip e-passport — the machine-readable book is closed, though existing MRPs stay valid to expiry. The visa's entry window and the six-month validity convention mean a book expiring inside mid-2027 should be renewed before the family books anything. The e-passport file carries the fee sheet and children's rules — under-fifteens are locked to five-year books.

Link two: the polio certificate, timed not rushed

Pakistani airports enforce the NADRA-integrated NIMS digital certificate — about Rs 100, issued through nims.nadra.gov.pk or the Pak Vaccination Pass app, valid when the dose falls four weeks to twelve months before departure. It must sit inside the window on the day you fly. The NIMS file explains the children's rules and the NICOP route for overseas family members — and it does not replace the meningococcal ACYW certificate in the vaccination file; both must exist.

Link three: the package that precedes the visa

The season's hardest rule is no booking, no visa. Through Nusuk Masar, the hotel booking reference must cover the entire Makkah and Madinah stay from an authorized provider, the transport booking must be confirmed, and the meal voucher — about SAR 20 a night per pilgrim, per the voucher file — is attached to visa processing. Only when those three exist does the visa file — with the operator checked against the license-check file and the QR per the unified contract file.

Link four and five: the visa clock, then the permits

A visa issued today begins its 30-day entry window immediately — the timing file shows why filing works backwards from the flight, and the 365-day multiple-entry file tracks repeat travellers' balances. Inside the Kingdom, the Umrah permit — and in Madinah the separate Rawdah permit — close the chain; the Nusuk Card and permit file and the ziyarat guide carry the booking steps.

Pro tip: work the chain backwards from the flight date — permits need dates, dates need a visa, the visa needs a booking reference, the reference needs a valid passport — and every link acquires its own deadline.

Tarteeb hi asal document hai: pehle e-passport, phir polio certificate apni window mein, phir Nusuk package — hotel, transport, meal voucher — phir visa, aur us ke baad permit. Ticket pehle kharidna aur baad mein sochna, isi se files atakti hain. Seedhi chain par chala karo.

Visas open in sequence, but Gaza's crossings open at an occupier's whim — paperwork used as a weapon against the sick and the stranded. Ya Allah, make Palestine's gates answer to its people again, every crossing a door home. And Sudan's families wait at borders that war has made meaningless — Ya Rab, return them roads that end at their own doors, permits written only by peace.

A chain this long rewards a desk that knows the order by heart. We actually respond, twenty-four hours, no hidden charges, no message left on read; every client's file is worked link by link in writing — passport, certificate, booking, visa, permit. HTG Travels — WhatsApp +92 317 5054959.

The Date-Change File (2026–2027): What Pakistani Families Actually Do When Umrah Dates Move After the Visa Is Printed — the 30-Day Entry Clock That Turns a Postponement Into a New Application, the Hotel Booking That Has to Shift First, the Flight Rebooking Chain, the Permit That Follows the Booking and the Order of Operations That Saves the Most Money

"Dates badalni hain" — the sentence that reaches every operator's desk within a week of any visa being issued: a death in the family, the son's leave refused, the exam board moved the papers, the doctor said not this month. This is the file for the moment the calendar moves after the paperwork has already been printed. The clock that decides everything: the single-entry Umrah visa must now be entered within thirty days of issuance — a postponement that slides past that window does not postpone the visa, it kills it, and the application starts again. The order of operations that saves money: hold the flight before it auto-cancels, shift the hotel booking that anchors the whole file, let the permit follow the booking, then rebook the flights — in that order, with the flight-change chain handed to the refunds file. The postponement decision done as arithmetic: the visa fee, the hotel cancellation window and the flight change fee weighed against each other instead of feared together. And the calm that travels with it: istikhara before the change, the Hijri drift that quietly moves the crowded weeks, and the reminder that Palestine's families hold keys dated 1948 while Sudan's hold postponed weddings neither chose to postpone.

The Visa Fee Stack File (2026-2027): Where the Umrah Money Actually Goes — SAR 535 Versus SAR 480 Versus the Operator's SAR 300, the Insurance Inside the Price, the 30-Day Entry Clock and What the Stack Never Covers

"Visa ki fee kitni hai?" is the first question every Pakistani family asks — and the honest answer is not one number but a stack. This file takes the stack apart, layer by layer, with the published figures: the tourist eVisa priced around SAR 535 online with the mandatory medical insurance bundled in; the visa-on-arrival counter at roughly SAR 480, split into a SAR 300 visa and SAR 180 of insurance; and the classic Umrah visa routed through a licensed operator, where the visa fee sits near SAR 300 with insurance of roughly SAR 100 to SAR 180 on top — three doors, three price tags, and eligibility rules that decide which door a Pakistani passport can actually walk through, since the eVisa and arrival counter generally demand a valid US, UK or Schengen visa or residence behind them. Then the clocks that decide whether the fee is money well spent: the 30-day entry window that 2026's rules welded to visa issuance — enter within thirty days or watch the fee die on the calendar — and the one-year multiple-entry visa's 90-day cumulative balance with its fresh Nusuk package and permit before every entry. What the bundled insurance actually pays for, what it quietly excludes, and why the 15 percent VAT on services around the Kingdom belongs in the family's arithmetic. And the part every invoice eventually teaches: the stack covers the right to enter — never the bed, the bus or the booking, which is why the fee is only the ticket, not the journey. Fee sirf ticket hai, safar ki poori qeemat nahi.

The NIMS Digital Polio Certificate File (2026–2027): Pakistani Airports Have Enforced the NADRA-Integrated Vaccination Certificate for Umrah Passengers Since 14 September 2026 — Karachi First, Then the Network — the Rs 100 Certificate, the Four-Week Dose Rule, the Twelve-Month Validity, Airport Emergency Counters for Urgent Departures, and What Still Separates It From the Meningitis ACYW Certificate

Since 14 September 2026 Pakistani airports enforce the NADRA-integrated digital polio vaccination certificate for Umrah passengers, a rollout that began at Karachi and now shapes every departure: the paper vaccination card has become a supporting document while the NIMS-issued digital certificate — downloaded from nims.nadra.gov.pk or the Pak Vaccination Pass app for Rs 100 — becomes what check-in actually checks. This is the certificate file: why the dose must fall between four weeks and twelve months before departure, which vaccine counts, how overseas Pakistanis register doses taken abroad, why children travelling on B-Forms need their own record, the six-hours-early airport counter for urgent travellers, and why this certificate still does not replace the meningococcal ACYW certificate Saudi Arabia demands.

The Nusuk Meal Voucher File (2026–2027): Saudi Arabia's SAR 20-a-Night Food Fee Now Attached to Umrah Visa Processing — How the Mandatory Daily Voucher Is Priced Into Your Package, the Fourteen-Night Family Arithmetic That Adds Real Money, Why Cheap Quotes May Quote Around It, and the Written Questions That Protect You Before You Pay

This season's quietest cost change is the mandatory Nusuk meal voucher: Saudi Arabia now attaches a daily food-voucher fee of roughly SAR 20 per pilgrim per night to Umrah visa processing through the Nusuk platform, calculated alongside the accommodation booking rather than paid at a restaurant counter — around Rs 1,480 a night at current exchange, and over SAR 1,100 for a family of four on a fourteen-night trip. This is the voucher file: what the fee actually is, how it scales with every extra night, why two quotations that look identical can differ by exactly this amount, what the voucher can be spent on through participating outlets, and the questions a family must ask in writing before any advance touches an agent's account.

The Makkah Medical Emergency File for Pakistani Pilgrims (2026–2027): Calling 937 From the Mataf, the Red Crescent's 997, the Haram's Own Health Units, What the Insurance Bundled Into Your Umrah Visa Actually Pays For, the Midnight Pharmacy Run, and the Claim Paperwork That Must Fly Home With You

Every Umrah plan covers flights, hotels and permits — almost none covers the five minutes when a father clutches his chest near the Mataf or a child's fever spikes at 2am in a Makkah hotel. This file is that plan. Saudi Arabia's unified medical line is 937, the Saudi Red Crescent's ambulance line is 997, and both are free calls from any Saudi SIM; the Grand Mosque runs its own health units at the gates; emergency rooms treat first and route the bill to the insurance already bundled into your visa; the big pharmacy chains keep late hours; and a claim filed after return stands or falls on the receipts you kept. Save the numbers before you need them — that is the whole lesson.

The E-Passport-Only Era File (2026–2027): Pakistan Stopped Issuing Machine-Readable Passports in October 2026 — What the Chip-Passport Switch Means for Umrah and Visa Families, the New Fee Sheet From Rs 9,000, Why Your Existing MRP Still Works, and the Six-Month Validity Arithmetic That Decides Who Renews Now

Pakistan's passport system completed its biggest change in two decades in October 2026: machine-readable passport applications ended on 15 October and MRP issuance stopped entirely on 23 October, with every passport office — and the missions abroad that serve overseas families — now issuing only the chip-carrying e-passport. This is the switch file: the new fee sheet from Rs 9,000 for a five-year 36-page book, what the embedded chip and e-gate eligibility actually change at borders, why an existing MRP stays valid until expiry, and the calculation that matters most to Umrah families — the six-month passport validity rule colliding with the 30-day visa entry window to decide which families must renew before they book.
