Hajj Registration 2027–2030: Pakistan's Four-Year Waiting List, the Free CNIC Registration and the Queue Rules Nobody Explains (2026–2027)

Hajj from Pakistan used to work like a lottery counter: one policy a year, one scramble. In 2026 that changed permanently — the Federal Cabinet approved a four-year Hajj Policy covering 2027 to 2030, one integrated system: register once, hold your place in line, let the queue carry you toward your year.
The quick answer: Registration is free and has been open since 22 June 2026 on mora.gov.pk, hajjinfo.org and the Pak Hajj App. No closing date has been announced — the line moves on a rolling basis. The only document you need at this stage is a CNIC or NICOP; no passport, no photographs, no fee. Selection for each Hajj year runs on a first-come, first-served digital waiting list, and the policy states that pilgrims already in the queue hold the first right in every Hajj year. Over 250,000 Pakistanis registered in the first fifteen days. You choose your preferred Hajj year during registration — and the earlier you register, the better your standing for Hajj 2027, whose Day of Arafah is expected around 15 May 2027.
What registration is — and what it is not
Registration is a place in a queue, not a booking, and the difference is where most money gets wasted.
- It costs nothing. MoRA does not authorise any travel agent to collect registration forms or payments. Anyone selling a "Hajj 2027 registration service" is charging you for a free government step — the operator-verification file recognises that pattern early.
- It needs one document. CNIC for residents, NICOP for overseas Pakistanis, with NADRA biometric verification attached to your record.
- It does not fix your price. Package costs are decided and paid later, through the official channels mapped in the Pak Hajj App payment file.
How the waiting list actually works
The four-year policy replaces luck with order, and the order has rules worth memorising:
- First-come, first-served. Your position is your registration sequence — not your bank balance, not your reference.
- The queue keeps the first right. Each Hajj year, seats release to the waiting list before anyone new is considered; registering late means standing behind everyone who came before you.
- You pick your target year. Families align their registration with a preferred year within the 2027–2030 window — paired with a new Shariah-compliant Hajj savings scheme, so a queue position does not expire while savings build.
- The booking stage is separate. When your number arrives, you move to the document file: a valid passport — the working benchmark for Hajj 2027 is validity until at least 16 November 2027 — plus recent photographs and a name that matches your CNIC letter for letter. The passport file covers renewals and the name-spelling errors that break applications here.
Overseas Pakistanis register the same way — NICOP holders use the same portals, with biometrics completed through NADRA overseas centres or the High Commission, mapped in the NICOP and POC file.
What the four-year policy builds around you
The policy's quieter changes are the ones your family will feel in Makkah: mandatory pre-departure training so first-timers arrive prepared rather than improvised, Takaful insurance arrangements protecting pilgrims, merit-based appointment of Muavineen (Hajj assistants), and dedicated emergency-response mechanisms during the season. The medical side — the MenACWY certificate and polio requirements — is filed in the vaccination guide, and the airport pre-clearance that shortens your arrival day is covered in the Makkah Route file.
The booking stage has already moved from registration to payment: applications opened 18 August 2026 on the first-come, first-served rule, with the government packages set at roughly Rs 1.2 million for the 40-day programme and Rs 1.3 million for the short package and a 20 October 2026 deadline for the scheme's selected pilgrims, while the private scheme's sixteen approved packages run Rs 1.4 million to Rs 3.75 million on a 20 November selection-and-payment deadline. The money's path through the app, the banks and the portal is mapped in the payment file, and the wider cost picture lives in the Hajj 2027 planner.
Hajj ke liye pehla qadam ab paisa nahi — registration hai, bilkul muft, sirf CNIC ke sath. Jitni jaldi line mein shamil honge, aapka number utna aage hoga.
Pakistan's waiting list holds a promise at the end of its queue — a prayer answered in its own season. Palestine's queues hold no such promise: displaced families line up at sealed crossings while the world files its paperwork, generation after generation told to wait by the very governments arming their erasure. Ya Allah, end that wait with justice, not another decade of excuses. And Sudan's lines are for flour and water — ration queues in a famine built by rifles, silence and stolen harvests. Ya Allah, let Sudan's queues be for celebration again, its fields farmed in peace by the hands that own them.
A four-year queue rewards the family that registers today — and the desk that runs alongside you matters as much as the number you hold. We actually respond — twenty-four hours, no hidden charges, no message left on read — and our clients receive written Hajj files they can read, question and keep.
