Dubai Winter 2026–2027 from Pakistan: Global Village Season 31, the New DSF Dates and What the Season Actually Costs

    By Huzi

Winter is when Dubai stops being a layover and becomes the destination.

The season that opened on 14 October 2026 — Global Village's 31st — runs all the way to May 2027. The Dubai Shopping Festival returns from 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027. And New Year's Eve downtown remains the largest single night on the city's calendar.

For families flying out of Pakistan between November and February, this is the stretch when every dirham buys the most fun per hour of cold weather escaped. It's also the stretch when prices move hardest against the unprepared.

The quick answer: Global Village entry is AED 25–30, DSF runs 4 Dec–17 Jan, and a disciplined family week in high season costs PKR 550,000–750,000 all-in. The same itinerary slides toward PKR 400,000–500,000 in early February. The visa is pre-arranged — never book flights before it's approved.

    The season calendar that matters

    Global Village is the anchor:

    • Entry: AED 25 weekdays, AED 30 any-day tickets this season; VIP packs from AED 1,890 upward for priority lanes and credits.
    • The value: for a family of four, the park costs less than a decent dinner and delivers an evening's worth of pavilions, shows and street food from ninety countries.

The overlay: the Dubai Shopping Festival fills the malls from 4 December 2026 through 17 January 2027 — discounts, raffles and nightly entertainment.

The finale: New Year's Eve fills Downtown, the fountains and every rooftop in between — free if you stand in the crowds from late afternoon, comfortably expensive if you want a table.

Pad the plan with a desert safari, the aquarium, and one theme-park day, and the week writes itself.

Pro tip: The sequencing trap the calendars don't show: hotels near Downtown on 31 December price at three to five times their mid-January rate for the same room — the difference between a PKR 450,000 family week and a PKR 700,000 one is usually nothing but dates.

What the week actually costs from Pakistan

Working in rupees, a family of four in the December–January peak:

    Item Realistic cost
Return flights (Emirates, flydubai, AirBlue, Serene — from Lahore, Sialkot or Karachi) PKR 55,000–90,000 per person
UAE visa standard pre-arranged process with its own fee stack
3-star apartments, Deira or Al Barsha (DSF live) PKR 25,000–40,000 per night, family room
Food (Global Village + food courts) a fraction of restaurant pricing
Getting around the Metro moves most itineraries without a single taxi

    Modelled end to end:

    • December–January peak: PKR 550,000–750,000 all-in
    • First half of February: PKR 400,000–500,000 — DSF crowds thinned, weather still perfect

One warning belongs in bold: the visa is pre-arranged before travel — there is no visa on arrival for Pakistani passports — and a ticket bought before the visa is approved is money exposed to a rejection you could have avoided.

The team at HTG Travels sequences visa, rooms and airfare in the correct order so a documentation hiccup costs nothing instead of everything. A live December-versus-February fare comparison usually reveals a cheaper, emptier month.

Book the season, not the flight

The single biggest saving available in Dubai's winter is not a discount code — it's booking as one package while inventory is still rational.

Flights, visa, family accommodation near a Metro station, Global Village and safari tickets, and airport transfers bought as one file price out measurably below the same items bought separately in three currencies — and someone accountable owns the itinerary when an airline moves a departure.

Our desk at HTG Travels is building Dubai winter weeks daily through the season, including the quiet-genius version — early February: same weather, thinner crowds, softer rates — for families whose school calendar allows it.

Tell the trip's shape, dates and headcount to +92 317 5054959 and you'll get a rupee-total plan for the week rather than a cart full of partial bookings.

By the time the December rush makes every rate worse, your winter will already be priced and locked.
